Darin Shapiro Releases Signature Wakesurf Boards

Grindwater Sports is pleased to announce the introduction of Shapiro Wakesurf Boards designed by Darin Shapiro.
Shapiro put his decades of wakesports innovation to task noting: “I’ve surfed my entire life and been behind the boat possibly more hours than anyone, and these are the best wakesurf boards I’ve ever ridden. We’ve worked with one of the best shapers in the country, Ricky Carroll, and created some of the lightest, fastest, rail-to-rail carving boards on the market. Personally I am excited to finally ride a board that feels like you are literally surfing behind the boat” commented Shapiro.
Shapiro single handedly designed the innovative “flyrail”, creating a progressive performance board unlike anything seen before. The Flyrail gives the boards a looser/faster feel, but also providing the rider push and power for incredible speed in the turn.
The “Shaka” model is a 62” twin fin with the Shapiro Flyrail.
