Keith Lidberg has always been the top dog when it comes to sliding your board on something other than water. He had an idea in the winter to hop from one rail to another, and before you knew it he had built it and was killing it. I think there are very few riders out there who can pull off this kind of riding, hats off to Mr Lidberg….

Nate Perry & Keith Lidberg Barrel Tap & CRail

So Nate Perry was inspired by the barrel tap we had in Cologne for Wake The Line, and decided to make one of his own. Lidberg, who was taken out in a freak accident in Germany by the barrels, came out to show that he can slay the taps and the crail better than anyone.

Zach Schneider Hits A Handrail

We took out a little handrail off to one side of The Projects, and Zach Schneider took some sick hits at it for the evening. This thing was hard to hit, but once you figured it out you had it on lock down. Zach for sure had it on lock down and was able to press the hell out of it…..

Kevin Henshaw has been regarded as one of the best rail riders in the world for quite some time. To me, he falls into that category of rail legend like Keith Lidberg and Parks Bonifay do - doing things on rails thats just not the norm, and only few can copy. Rails riding has changed a little over the last year or so, the press and spin has taken over a little. Not that this is a bad thing, but Kevin shows us exactly what rail riding really should be - crazy, knarly and super fun! Kevin killed it for this video, so thanks to Kev’ and everyone who made this video come together!

You might be asking who the hell is Trevor Bashir? Well Trevor is a local rider to The Projects, who has been exposed to the whole flex board pressing side to riding. He has seen Nate Perry and Marc Rossiter press out their stuff and has quietly been working on his own version. Shot on the Saturday of the Wake Games in Orlando, Adam and Jimmy were crushing tricks out at Jimmy’s new place on Clear Lake. With Jimmy’s new Nautique 230, and with Jimmy on his new board, he was landing crazy lines. His first went grabbed heel 9, toe 9, grabbed heel 7, huge back 5 into crowmobe - nuts! Adam was also on form, making his toe 9 look easy, and coming up annoyingly short on a 1080 at the end of his short set. Its good to see these guys riding consistent at this level, who know where they’ll take it over the coming season….

B&W C Rail - Video Feature

I have been wanting to shoot a video like this for a while now, all black and white and getting in close to something. We have been looking at this C-Rail for a while now, and this morning it was that time to actually go shoot it. Along for the ride Was Marc Rossiter, Nate Perry, Clay and Zack - all the Projects crew basically. As i know that they can all ride crazy good on the rail, i could take those few steps closer to them when they were hitting the rail. The lake grass was long around there too, so i had fun shooting through that. More B&W videos to come for sure…..

Now, The Season Begins - Video Feature

Its now that time of year, when the competition schedule kicks off the riding season here in Orlando. Wake Games is the first competition of the year, and its when everyone lays down their hard work over the winter months. I headed out to the event, and wanted to capture the atmosphere of the start dock. There were a lot of nerves on the dock today, but everyone seemed to be able to keep it together for the pro mens and womens final. It was awesome to see Harley Clifford, JD Webb, Bob Soven, Jimmy LaRich and Josh Palma all take their moments to focus before the ride. It was a great way to see the season start, its going to be a wide open year between so many riders……
